Cache Valley Winters -- Northern Utah Photographer

A lot of friends and family have asked how my photography has been going. Winters in Cache Valley are crazy cold! Often we have been rated to have the worst air in the nation because of the inversions we have each winter. There are a few great trade offs of the inversion: you visibly appreciate every branch of a tree when it is covered in beautiful and intricate frost.

I have been focusing a lot on where I would like to take my photography career. I have a lot of great things coming in the upcoming weeks!

Service Call --Northern Utah Portrait Photographer

My camera has been getting it's yearly professional cleaning service. I have been really sad to be without my camera over the last couple of weeks. I am really excited this week to get my camera back and be back out on the road with my gear in hand!

I hope you all enjoyed ringing in the new year!

Autumn & Dane Formals Part 2 --Northern Utah Wedding Photographer

As promised, here is part two of the wedding shots! I usually visualize a photo in color. Every now and then I know that a picture will have more potential in black and white. I LOVE the way these images turned out!

Thanks again Autumn & Dane!

Autumn & Dane Formals --Northern Utah Wedding Photographer

I loved spending time with this carefree couple! Autumn wanted to have additional formal pictures taken of them at Union Station in Ogden. I had never been there before and loved the chance to put my creativity to the test in finding great shots without scouting out locations first. There was a great variety of color and I loved the yellow trains!

Check back tomorrow for part 2!

Union Station -- Northern Utah Wedding Photographer

I love attending weddings and receptions! Wedding are full of people smiling ear to ear and enjoying the moment they are in. The same was true for Autumn and Dane's wedding weekend. There were so many friends and family there to support them and celebrate with them. Autumn has one of the best laughs that I have ever heard! It is so infectious and brings a smile to your face to hear her laugh. Dane was a little bit reserved but was glowing each time he looked at Autumn. That is why I love weddings!

I am nearly done with these edits but wanted to give them a quick preview. I'm really excited to spend most of today and tomorrow with my computer working on these edits.

Sushi Rewards --Northern Utah Newborn Photographer

This adorable little guy earned my husband and I a night out with this family for sushi. We've honestly been talking about going out to dinner together for a L-O-N-G time. After our session we were able to celebrate while practicing our chop stick skills. If a session always ends with sushi, sign me up for a hundred more!
